A committed believer in Jesus Christ, Julie is passionate about coming alongside others to encourage them to pursue an ever-deepening relationship with Christ.

Julie speaks to writer’s conferences, women’s retreats, single adult groups, and other Christian gatherings. She is a frequent guest on radio and TV broadcasts including Chris Fabry Live, Midday Connection, Moody Broadcasting, Christian Television Network, Focus on the Family Radio, LeSea Broadcasting, “Among Friends,” and Billy Graham’s “Decision Today.” Julie’s bylines have appeared in Moody, Today’s Christian Woman, Salvation Army Newsletter, The Standard, BGC World, Clarity, Christian Single, Church Libraries, Advanced Christian Writer, Christian Communicator and Home Life. She has taught journalism, English, and communications; been a spokesperson for a Chicago utility; and worked at a newspaper. Julie is a long-time mentor for the Jerry B. Jenkins Christian Writers Guild.

Having been in Christian magazine and book publishing management for a decade (as managing editor of Moody Press, senior editor of Moody Magazine, acquisitions editor of Christian Publications, Inc., and managing editor of The Standard magazine), Julie manages her own writing and PR company. She holds a BA in management from Anderson University and an MA in journalism from Ball State University.

Julie celebrated her silver anniversary in publishing with the release of a golden project: The Julie-Allyson Ieron Bible Reference Collection on WORDsearch 9.0.
